What is Notable Live?
Notable Live is an interactive, virtual, events-based platform that connects fans and notables and brings them face-to-face through structured, pre-scheduled NotableEvents that are LIVE! via the Notable Live app available on iOS or Android mobile devices and tablets.

A notable is a celebrity, influencer or content creator with a unique skill or expertise who has a strong desire to connect with their fan base or following via LIVE!, face-to-face interactions.

How is the Notable Live platform different from other celebrity social interaction platforms?
Notable Live is not another social media platform, and we are not a video conferencing tool.
We are a purpose-built platform that fuses LIVE! video interaction with event-like features to create a one-of-a-kind experience that puts you “in the room” with your favorite notables. Our mobile app does not have an interface for peer-to-peer posting, therefore prohibiting trolling behaviors and limiting intrusive content. Anyone who violates the guidelines outlined in our Terms of Service (e.g., by creating objectionable content; by engaging in objectionable behavior; or other prohibited use will be muted, skipped or removed from a single Event, or the platform entirely. 
How does Notable Live work?
Notables on the Notable Live platform schedule and host their own NotableEvents for their fans and their communities. Fans register for Events in advance by purchasing tickets online via the Notable Live web app at events.notable.live  Fans can also purchase exclusive merchandise and/or memorabilia that is exclusive to a notable and/or Event. On the day of an Event, a notable and the fans who have purchased or secured a ticket can join the Event via the Notable Live app on an iOS or Android mobile device or tablet. 
Why do I need to create a Notable Live account?
In order to gain access to notables and NotableEvents, a Notable Live account is required to preview and register for Events or shop a notable’s exclusive Storefront.  
Is there a membership fee to join Notable Live?
No, creating a Notable Live account is free. Having an account will let you browse notables, shop their exclusive Storefronts and register for upcoming NotableEvents.
How do I create a Notable Live account?
There are two simple ways to create a Notable Live account. 
  1. The first is online at events.notable.live  You can either enter your email or link your account to your Facebook or Twitter accounts. Any fields that are not automatically filled in through your social accounts, will be necessary to manually enter during the registration process. We strongly recommend that you upload a profile picture to guarantee that you always receive a NotableSelfie after each NotableEvent for which you’ve registered. If you link your account to one of your social channels, your profile picture for that account will be the default. Once you submit the details to create your account and verify that you have read our Terms of Service you will receive an email at the address you provided or that is linked to your social accounts. You must click on this link to verify your account. The link will expire after 72 hours.
  2. The second is through the Notable Live app on your Android or iOS devices. Once you’ve downloaded the app on Google Play or the App Store  you can create your account using your email and unique password for Notable Live, or by linking your account to your Facebook or Twitter accounts. Any fields that are not automatically filled in through your social accounts, will be necessary to manually enter during the registration process. We strongly recommend that you upload a profile picture to guarantee that you always receive a NotableSelfie after each NotableEvent for which you’ve registered. If you link your account to one of your social channels, your profile picture for that account will be the default. Once you submit the details to create your account and verify that you have read our Terms of Service  you will receive an email at the address you provided or that is linked to your social accounts. You must click on this link to verify your account. The link will expire after 72 hours.
After you’ve fully completed the registration process, you will be asked to select your interests, based on potential categories of notables and NotableEvents that you might be interested in following or attending. This step is optional, but if you identify interests, you will be able to quickly view notables and NotableEvents that match your interests on the Discover tab at events.notable.live or via the app. Selected interests will also be visible on your profile, and can be updated at any time. 
Can I create an account and register for NotableEvents if I am an international user?
Yes, the Notable Live app is available to download globally and NotableEvents are open to international fans and global communities. 
What is a NotableEvent?
A NotableEvent is a virtual Event hosted by a single notable, or multiple notables, that streams LIVE! through the Notable Live mobile app. Like any other live event, NotableEvents are pre-scheduled and ticketed. Ticket prices will vary depending on the notable, the audience size, Event topic and your desired level of interaction with the notable. Notables schedule their own NotableEvents and determine the size, length, format and topic(s). Notables also set the ticket price(s) and decide whether they want to sell merchandise or memorabilia with their Event tickets.
How long are NotableEvents?
The length of a NotableEvent varies and is determined by the notable(s) before or even during an Event. There is no time limit of how long an Event can last, but it requires that notables and users have devices that are fully charged, as well as stable internet connections to permit LIVE! interactions.
How do I register for a NotableEvent?
In order to register for a NotableEvent, you must first create a Notable Live account (see detailed instructions under the “How do I create a Notable Live account?”). Once you have created an account, you will have access to browse and register for NotableEvents of interest. At this time, you can only register for events online via a browser (e.g., Safari, Chrome) on your computer or mobile device at events.notable.live. Note, you cannot register for an Event via our mobile app.

Navigate to the Discover tab to view Upcoming Events. You can sort by day, week, month or year. Select the Event Details thumbnail to learn more about the Event. Scroll to the bottom of the screen to select Register. A Registration page will come up and you will be asked to check to agree to our Terms of Service  You will also be able to add any Add to Order items listed with the Event to your Cart at this time. Next, you will click Save and Continue to review the contents of your Cart before you are redirected to PayPal to checkout. You will be asked again to agree to our Terms of Service  Once you have completed your payment, you will land on a Questions page where you can submit up to five questions for the notable(s). You have the option to skip this step during registration, but you can login at events.notable.live up to 24 hours before an Event starts to Add Questions. 
Why are NotableEvent ticket prices different?
Event prices vary depending on the notable(s), the Event size, format or topic(s) being shared or discussed. Notables might even offer Event upgrades that guarantee interaction, or ticket bundles that include merchandise or memorabilia to commemorate the experience.
Can I register for a NotableEvent using the app?
At this time, you cannot register for Events through the Notable Live app. The only way to register is online by logging in at events.notable.live via a browser on a mobile device or computer.
How do I pay for NotableEvents?
We accept payment for NotableEvents, including but not limited to tickets, memorabilia, merchandise, and LIVE! Auctions through the PayPal payment gateway. Funds will be captured upfront at the point of purchase for any order placed via PayPal. Notable Live will use the shipping address that you specify in your PayPal profile.
How many people can participate in a NotableEvent?
The size of a NotableEvent “room” is determined by the notable(s). Events can be as intimate as a roundtable or as large as an auditorium).
Can I join a NotableEvent on my computer?
If you are joining a LIVE! NotableEvent, you must login to the Notable Live app on your mobile device or tablet. In some instances, a notable may decide to share an Event replay online that you can watch outside of the Notable Live app. However, if you want to have the opportunity to interact with a notable LIVE!, the only way to be a part of an Event in real-time is through the mobile app. Please note, the decision to record an Event and/or externally share an Event replay are made directly by the notable(s) on a case-by-case basis.
What do I need for my NotableEvent?
In addition to your virtual ticket to reserve your spot “in the room,” you will need to download the Notable Live app on your Android or iOS device, which is available on Google Play or the App Store  For an optimal experience, you will also want to make sure that your device is fully charged before and/or during an Event (some Events may last over an hour). Most importantly, you want to make sure you have a strong internet connection, whether it be cellular or WiFi, because the quality of the LIVE! “in the room” experience is dependent on your connection. You should always check your device’s connection in advance, from where you will be during the Event.
Why am I being asked by the Notable Live app to grant access to my camera?
As outlined in our Terms of Service  the [Notable Live] System utilizes your device camera and microphone for video-audio streaming during NotableEvents. Additionally, the System utilizes your device camera in the creation of keepsakes from the event, including NotableSelfies, and optional recordings of the Events that are saved on and may be shared from a user’s NotablePage.

In addition to your device camera and microphone, the System utilizes your device storage to capture keepsakes and other content from the Event.
Why am I being asked to “check [my] device” before I join an Event?
As outlined in our Terms of Service  The [Notable Live] System relies on a stable and adequate network connection (i.e., either Wi-Fi, cellular or other network connection) for video-audio streaming during NotableEvents. The System provides a utility called “Check Device” which you can utilize to verify an adequate network connection. If the device network connection is interrupted, impaired or reduced below the acceptable level, the video-audio streaming may degrade or be terminated.
Can I check the connection on my device without being registered for a NotableEvent?
Yes, you can check the connection at any time by logging into the Notable Live app on your device and clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen, next to the magnifying glass. A pop-up screen will appear with the option to “Check Device” which you can utilize to verify an adequate network connection.
What happens if I close the Notable Live app during an Event?
We do not recommend navigating out of or away from the Notable Live app during a NotableEvent, as you may experience internet interruptions or sub-optimal conditions as a result. If you accidentally exit out of the app during an Event and begin to experience degraded conditions, we recommend (for optimal performance) that you exit out of the Event and close out of the Notable Live app before rejoining the Event. If you are not a VIP or pre-selected user, you will unfortunately forfeit your position in the question queue.
How do I bid on a LIVE! Auction item?
If a notable decides to host a LIVE! Auction during their NotableEvent, you can view and bid on items by tapping on the gavel in the upper right corner of the screen. A carousel of LIVE! Auction items will appear on the bottom of your screen while the LIVE! Event is happening. If there are multiple auction items you can scroll through the carousel to view them. Tap on the image of an item to view additional details and place a bid. Once you place a bid, you will be automatically redirected back into the LIVE! Event. To check on the status of an item, tap again on the gavel to bring up the carousel. If you are the highest bidder, the price of the item will be green, but if you have been outbid the price will be red. You can continue to bid and view auction items throughout an Event, until the notable or an administrator indicates that an auction is ending. A LIVE! Auction will pause during an Event if content is being streamed, a Trivia contest is underway or a NotableSelfie is being taken.
How do I play Trivia during an Event?
If a notable decides to include Trivia as a part of their NotableEvent, everyone will be redirected to a Trivia Contest at the same time. When you see the question on the screen, you will only have one chance to select the correct answer – once you tap on the answer, your selection is final. If you answer the question correctly, you will see coins rain down on your screen and points will tally up in your Treasure Chest. If you answer incorrectly, you will either move on or be eliminated, depending on how the notable decides to structure the contest.
How do I earn Rewards Points?
If a notable decides to include Trivia as a part of their NotableEvent, you can earn Rewards Points by correctly answering questions during a Trivia Contest. The number of points awarded will vary based on the notable(s) and the difficulty of the question(s).
How can I check my Rewards Points?
You can check your rewards points at any time via the Notable Live mobile app or online at events.notable.live  Look for the Treasure Chest icon in the upper right corner of your screen and click on it to reveal your rewards points earned to-date, as well as points redeemed. To the left of the Treasure Chest is a circle where you can quickly see how many points you have. The circle will turn blue once you have earned 100 points. If you tap on that blue circle during an Event, you will receive a pop-up screen that asks you if you would like to redeem 100 points to jump to the top of the question queue. If you choose to redeem your points, you will see your name jump to the top of queue and you will have a lock next to your name to indicate that you have locked in your spot. If for any reason you are not selected to go LIVE! with the notable, your 100 rewards points will be returned to your Treasure Chest.
How do I redeem my Rewards Points?
In addition to redeeming points during an Event to jump the queue, you can also gift points to friends or redeem them for discounts on Event tickets, Add to Order or Storefront items and services, if applicable. 
How can I guarantee interaction with a notable during an Event?
The only way to truly guarantee LIVE! interaction with a notable is if they offer a VIP package, inclusive of this guarantee, as a part of their NotableEvent. There are a few other ways before or during an Event that will help increase your chances of interacting, including:
  1. Pre-submit a question for the notable(s) before the Event. The notable(s) and/or their team(s) review all of the questions in advance. If your question is pre-selected, you will appear higher in the question queue (below the VIP users), regardless of when you entered the room. 
  2. Get in the room 30 minutes before the Event starts. The “room” opens up 30 minutes before a NotableEvent is scheduled to start. You lock in your spot in the question queue based on when you enter the “room” – so get in early!
  3. Redeem Rewards Points to jump the queue. If you have 100 points in your Treasure Chest, you can tap on the blue circle to the left of your Treasure Chest and select to redeem 100 points to jump to the top of the question queue and lock in your spot. Only three users can jump the queue at any one time. If for any reason you are not selected to go LIVE! with the notable, your 100 rewards points will be returned to your Treasure Chest.
  4. Trivia Contests. Some notables may choose to host elimination Trivia Contests and may grant the winner or winner(s) a chance to interact with them LIVE! during the Event.
How can I search for NotableEvents?
In order to browse notables and NotableEvents of interest, login to events.notable.live or the Notable Live app and navigate to the Discover tab where you will see NotableEvents Just for you based on the Interests you selected when you created your profile. You can add or update your Interests on your Profile at any time. If you do not have any NotableEvents on your Just for you tab, navigate to the Notables tab to see all of the notables on our platform and their upcoming Events.
How do I submit questions for the notable(s)?
You will have the opportunity to submit up to five questions for the notable(s) once you complete the Event registration. Enter one question per box and click on the plus button next to the box to add up to five questions. If you choose to skip this step during registration, you can login at events.notable.live up to 24 hours before an Event starts to Add Questions. Navigate to the Events tab to view My Events where you will see a prompt to Add Questions. If your question is approved, you will receive an email from Notable Live before the Event confirming which of your questions was approved and will appear on the screen next your image if you are selected to go LIVE! with the notable(s) during the Event. 
What if I forget my approved question for the notable(s)?
NotableEvents are exciting and it’s normal to get nervous when you’re face-to-face with your favorite notable(s). If you submitted a question in advance, but you can’t remember which of your questions was approved, or what you even wanted to ask, we have made it easy for you during the Event to read your question in the blue box next to your username. You can view your question while you’re in the question queue, but you can also see it on the screen next your image if you are selected to go LIVE! with the notable(s) during the Event. If you have a long question, tap the carrot to expand your question in full.
Why do some Events offer memorabilia, merchandise or services?
Notable Live is on a mission to put the memory back in memorabilia, and so the platform was designed to allow notables to sell memorabilia, merchandise or services as a part of their NotableEvents to give fans another way to commemorate their experience. The decision to include these as Add to Order items during the Event registration process is at the sole discretion of a notable.
What if I miss my NotableEvent? Will I be refunded?
NotableEvent tickets and access to notables are non-transferable and non-refundable. All sales are final. If you purchase merchandise, memorabilia or a service as a part of a NotableEvent experience, you will still receive those items and services, regardless of whether you were able to attend the LIVE! Event.
What if my NotableEvent is cancelled or rescheduled? Will I be refunded?
As outlined in our Terms of Service  Event dates, as well as the notables hosting Events, are subject to change without advance notice. Refunds will not be given under any circumstances unless an exception is made at the discretion of the Service Provider. This policy includes, but is not limited to, rescheduling of events due to weather, change in notables scheduled to appear, change in User availability to attend after making purchase, venue and/or time changes.
How do I take a NotableSelfie?
During a NotableEvent, the notable(s) or an administrator will invite everyone to take a NotableSelfie to commemorate the experience, usually toward the end of an Event. Everyone in the Event will be directed to a screen where they can choose to use their pre-loaded Profile picture or take a NotableSelfie. If taking a selfie, you will see a blue circle at the bottom of your screen – that is your camera button. Above the blue button, there will be five gray circles. Each time you click the blue button, you will fill one of the gray circles with a selfie that you can select to use for your NotableSelfie. Before you click save, you can also apply one of the filters to modify the appearance of your selfie. In order to generate a NotableSelfie, you must select one of the circles and click save. Everyone will remain in selfie mode until the notable or administrator resumes the LIVE! Event. Watch this How to take a NotableSelfie video for a visual explanation. 
Where do I find my NotableSelfie after an Event?
After an Event, you can find your NotableSelfie on your NotablePage which you can access within the Notable Live app or by logging in at events.notable.live  At the top of the page you will see NotableEvents and NotableSelfies. Tap on NotableSelfies to view yours and Share with friends and family via text, email or social media. See also this How to take a NotableSelfie video for a visual explanation.
Can I get a recording of my NotableEvent?
If a notable chooses to share a recording of their NotableEvent, you can find it on your NotablePage which you can access within the Notable Live app or by logging in at events.notable.live  At the top of the page you will see a NotableEvents tab, under which you will see all the Events for which you registered. If a recording is available, you will see a Replay Event button. Depending on the length of an Event, a recording will be accessible within 24 hours of the Event ending. Per our Terms of Service  it is unlawful to publish or reproduce an Event recording.
What is the Notable Live Storefront?
The Notable Live Storefront is an exclusive online shopping destination accessible via the Notable Live app or online at events.notable.live  Notables can sell merchandise, memorabilia, or services via the Storefront at any time, regardless of whether they have a NotableEvent scheduled. A notable’s Storefront is separate from the Add to Order items available during the registration process for a NotableEvent, but it might include some or all of the same items or services that users can purchase separately or independent of a NotableEvent experience. 
How do I access a notable’s Storefront?
A notable’s exclusive Notable Live Storefront is accessible via the Notable Live app or online at events.notable.live  Once you’ve logged into the web app or mobile app, click on the Discover tab to find a notable’s profile and scroll to the bottom to find shoppable items. 
When will my favorite notable host an Event?
Since our first NotableEvent in April 2020, we have been organically growing our roster of notables. It is up to the notables to determine when and why they will host an Event. If there is a notable who you would like to get “in the room” with and connect with face-to-face, we encourage you to ”invite” them to join the Notable Live platform by tagging them and tagging us on Twitter,  Instagram  or  Facebook.  Alternatively, you can email us your recommendations at info@notable.live  Follow us on social media so you can stay up to date on the latest news and NotableEvents. Keep checking back because notables will be adding new Events to the schedule in real time.
